This is the traditional ‘Clairette. Lovely deep pink red. Soft, full blackcurrant fruit bursting out. A big Rosé, but combined with elegance and restraint.

Powerful, complex varietal aroma. Caramelised sugar and liquorice with a mouth-feel which is powerful, meaty, sweet tannins and flavourful. Balanced.

40% of the wine is aged in French oak which adds body, complexity and a lovely toasty note to the ripe blackcurrant, plum and raspberry flavoured wine.
