We have suggested two historical itineraries for you, however, if you require advice on a personalised tour, please do contact us and we will be delighted to help.
1. Start by visiting the National Galleries on the Mound and do not miss this unique opportunity to experience Raphael's Madonna of the Pinks. Then visit the National Museum of Scotland to learn about Scotland's culture, people and land.
Where better to lunch than at the top of the National Museum at the Tower Restaurant with its splendid views that overlook the castle. After dining at one of Edinburgh's finest restaurants, why not relax and be chauffeur driven around Edinburgh and visit a couple of attractions on the outskirts of Edinburgh such as Rosslyn Chapel and Dalhousie Castle.
Finally be driven back to the hotel to be served some Afternoon Tea by your Butler in the Drawing Room or in the comfort of your own bedroom.

2. Take a leisurely walk up to Scotland's finest tourist attraction, Edinburgh Castle. Feel free to explore the castle at your own pace or have a guided tour that lasts approximately 2 hours but remember to prepare yourself for the 1 o'clock gun!
Your adrenalin should be pumping by now so why not nip into The Witchery and dine in luxury. The Witchery is regarded as one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh and certainly should not be missed.
Now that you have visited Edinburgh's most popular tourist attraction and restaurant, why not try Scotland's most popular drink… the 'water of life' - Whisky!!! At the Whisky Heritage Centre you will learn all about Scotland's biggest export and even try a wee dram yourself.
After a long day why not come back to the Howard and try our extensive range of whiskies. From the peatiness of Laphroaig to the smoothness of a Macallan where there will always be a malt that will suit you.
