Where are you located?
The Howard is located on Great King Street in the New Town area of Edinburgh. Only a ten minute walk from Princes Street and just off Dundas Street, the Howard has an excellent location for restaurants and attractions.
Do you have a car park?
We have a secure free car park located at the rear of the Howard. Just pull up at the front door and one of our Butler team will be more than happy to park your car.
How long will it take to walk to?
The Shops…5minutes
The Castle…20 minutes
Holyrood Palace…25 minutes
Harvey Nichols…10 minutes
National Gallery…10 minutes
Scottish Parliament…25 minutes
Royal Botanic Gardens…10 minutes
Alternatively each of these attractions is only a five minute taxi journey from The Howard.
What time can I check in and out?
Check in is at 3pm and check out by 12pm. It is often possible to check in earlier and we will try to make your room ready for you as soon after you arrive as is possible. We are happy to store luggage both before you check in if arriving early or after you check out.
Would I need to pre-book a table in your restaurant?
We would advise that you pre-book a table although this is not always necessary. If you wish to you may also enjoy our restaurant menu through our in room dining service.
Do you have any leisure facilities?
As a small boutique hotel we do not have facilities on site, although we can recommend the Fitness First Platinum gym just two minutes walk from the hotel. We can provide a complimentary pass for our guests.
